Company History & Overview
SpaceGen has its roots in 2013, founded in Secunderabad, Telangana, to address critical national requirements in defense manufacturing and tactical autonomous systems. Combining operational flight expertise with agile system integration, SpaceGen engineers high-performance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), tactical Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS), high-grade additive manufacturing (3D printing) for airframe structures, and secure Beyond Line-of-Sight (BLOS) defense satellite communication links.
Operating as an asset-light system integrator, the company leverages localized supply chains, in-house rapid prototyping, and military-grade testing to deliver rapid-deployment aerospace and electronic warfare solutions to defense formations and government sectors.
SpaceGen began small and humble — the first step toward becoming an aerospace and defense manufacturer.
Launched a UAV pilot training program for school students, introducing the next generation to unmanned aviation.
Expanded into a 3,000+ sq ft R&D and manufacturing facility in Hyderabad.
